Women’s Economic Empowerment

By providing microloans, business training, water tanks and nutritional food sources, WAEV enables women to obtain greater social and economic autonomy in their communities, while also bolstering their physical health.

Environmental Conservation

WAEV works to mobilize, and train women and families to plant trees at their homesteads, bare lands and local schools. Trees produce firewood for cooking, timber for construction, and fruit to boost nutrition and generate income. These trees also reduce soil erosion, improve soil fertility and restore the natural ecosystems.

Enkisoma (Education)

We work to combat inadequate literacy levels in our women’s groups and local schools by enhancing instruction, improving access to resources, and prioritizing communication between students, parents and teachers.
